Christopher Morsner
HSE Manager & Head of Training Division
Wears two hats in DEKRA Industrial, that of HSE Manager Corporate, and as the Head of Training Division in the DEKRA Institute of Learning.
He started with the company in September 2009 and is qualified in a range of HSE and Safety Management courses and certifications, including SHEMTRAC, Fall Protection Planner, Root Cause Analysis, Project Management and Project Objectives, National Diploma Safety Management, SHEQ Integration Management: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, SHEQ Internal Auditor, Facilitating Learning using a variety of given methodologies, Outcomes – based Assessor and Moderator and Course Design and Development.
He is also registered as an Assessor and Moderator with MerSeta and registered with the Following Councils:
- International Safety, Quality, Environment Management Association (ISQEM)
- SAIOSH – Technical Member
- Association of Construction Health and Safety Management (CHSM)
- SACPCMP – (CHSM)
- International Safety and Security Association – Vision Zero Ambassador
To complement his qualification even further, Christopher is currently studying and Adult-based Education degree along with a NEBOSH International Diploma.
His goals include — within the next five years — growing the training facility into a world class institute that is recognised on the African continent and, in the next two years, to be ranked amongst the top five training companies in South Africa.
On a personal level, Christopher would like to work towards being appointed as the Head of the HSE Division for the Oceanic Cluster and to be part of creating greater DEKRA brand awareness on the African continent.
