Aside from having our parent company to call on, DEKRA Industrial’s strategic advantage rests on our wide-ranging experience in sub-Saharan and pan-Africa, where we have successfully completed projects in Tanzania, Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana, DRC, Ghana and St Helena Island.

DEKRA Industrial was recently awarded a tender to undertake NDT inspection and testing at South Africa’s only nuclear plant, Koeberg nuclear power station in Cape Town, and is also in the process of adding the RD-0034 nuclear safety compliance standard to our NDT and inspections offering.

More recently, DEKRA Industrial registered a legal entity in Northern Mozambique – DEKRA Industrial Inspection LDA - offering NDT services to the LNG sector, and current allied construction projects. We are also registered on all the relevant Mozambique tender portals as an approved supplier to the various local gas projects: Achilles and the SAIPEM CCS JV, for work on Area 1 and ExxonMobil, Area 4.

DEKRA Industrial is also registered on tender portals to undertake work on the upcoming Area 4 Rovuma LNG project led by oil and gas company ExxonMobil.

The Mozambican arm, in addition to the set of conventional inspection and NDT services, will also offer a range of advanced NDT services through DEKRA Industrial RSA.
