Started his NDT career as an NDT Technician on Koeberg Power Station in 1982, working for Uniray NDT Services.
In 1984 George was transferred to Secunda as a Senior Technician to work in Mpumalanga until 1987, thereafter he became Manager in KZN, working in Richards Bay until 1992, followed by a new position at SECRAY in 1993 as a senior technician on Letabo Power Station. George moved to Raysonics in 1998 and was transferred to Middelburg, where in 2002 he became the Operations Manager and, in 2004 was appointed as a Director in Secunda.
He built the Operations in Secunda to the biggest business unit within Raysonics over a 6-year period, where he remained until joining DEKRA Industrial in 2015, where has been Business Development Manager since 2018. George hopes to play a part in making DEKRA the biggest NDT company in Sub-Saharan Africa.
